The SSAR is running our Conference Mentorship Program at this year’s Joint Meeting of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists in St. Paul, Minnesota from July 9–13. This highly impactful program helps new society members make long lasting connections in their field and is a major opportunity to make colleagues feel welcome and supported. If you are interested in registering as a mentor or mentee, please make sure to fill out this form by June 2. We plan to follow past participants’ feedback by making thoughtful pairings based on career stage, research interests, and identity. Individuals from all career types and stages are invited to participate as mentors, from students to postdocs to established professionals. For more information, please check out the website and/or contact the Conference Mentorship Program organizer, Rob Denton (rdenton@marian.edu).
