Membership in the Society is open to anyone with an interest in herpetology. One benefit of membership is eligibility for the Society's popular Grants-in-Herpetology program. In addition to the GIH program, the Society's International Cooperation Committee recently has completed an extensive compilation of funding sources entitled International Grant Programs. The Society's Henri Seibert Awards are presented at each Annual Meeting to students presenting papers judged to be best in each of several categories.
